In 2020, the Japanese government's request for people to refrain from leaving their homes due to the spread of COVID-19 has made it difficult for the author Akizuki to cross prefectural borders to visit restaurants. The restaurants he introduces in this book are naturally those that he covered before the coronavirus pandemic.
